Great place to work. Everything you'd expect of a FTSE 100 company. Passionate about local roots and customers from small to enterprise
Cons
Personally I have found that once at manager level it's hard to progress as there are professional roles which require experience, or Leadership roles which are a big jump which isn't frequent or likely.

Thank you for taking your time to write a review. We would agree with you that Sage is a great company to work for and the passion it has for its history, roots and customers is evident in everything we do. Our colleagues are fantastic too!
We are working hard to improve how we identify and promote talent at Sage. The Sage Talent Review recognises high potential talent and helps future stars achieve their ambitions. We also help colleagues develop themselves and all colleagues are encouraged to have a personal development plan to help their managers understand their career ambitions. I am not sure if you have done this already, if you have not talk to your manager or your HRBP / People Business Partner. There is also further guidance on personal development available on Lynda.com via Sage Academy. We want you to achieve your career ambitions and be the best you can be. If you want further guidance please email us at Glassdoor@sage.com and we would be happy to help.
Thanks again for the review.
Some of the people are genuinely rockstars in their crafts. The insurance is top notch and PTO is generous.
Cons
Company culture and morale are awful. The salaries are low, policies are dated and not equitable, product and internal tech is dated. Rapid changes due to poor leadership and frequent turnover. Leadership does not seem to possess the ability to pivot once decisions have been made, even if the decision was the wrong one. Company personality is archaic and as far away from forward-thinking as possible.
