Pros

The people you sit with make or break your time there. I had GREAT companions in my corner of the building. Sharp, intelligent, warm, and everything a good office should have.

Cons

Contemplating a career here, or know someone who is? Point them to these reviews. Save yourself or that person, unless you dislike them! Turnover is very high because training is non-existent. Pay is low and likely to remain that way. Samsung uses legacy technology to solve tomorrow's problems... except the deadline passed yesterday. The WEBSITE CMS is a botched AEM implementation. HQ is stonewalling to 'save face'. Bullying and harassment is rife in SERVICE division. Attempts to bring in Fair Work Australia have been foiled, most notably in 2014. I can confidently say Pauline Hanson will devour a "halal snack pack" before that happens. Some companies dream of heading into space by 2020, like Virgin Galactic. And P0rnhub. Samsung dreams of "Work Smart 2020 - Building a Creative Culture: Work Smart. Think Hard. Build Trust." A closer description is: Hard Culture. Build Work. Group Think. All this leads to an inevitable truth. We haemorrhage talent. If you are starting your career, don't do it here if you have options.

None. It’s the perfect employer.

Pros

Great products. Everyone gets to travel at least once per year.

Cons

Low pay compared to top US electronics companies. Strong culture of favoritism — managers rarely promote on merit and frequently move the goalposts for employees outside their inner circle. Colleagues and managers regularly take credit for others' work. I personally witnessed and experienced what I believe to be gender and race-based inequities in how employees are treated and evaluated. HR was unresponsive when issues were raised.
