Worst hiring proces I’ve seen in my life! - Country Manager SamyRoad Employee Review

I’ve been in talks with the company for almost 4 months and talked with 5 different stakeholders within the company. In the beginning of the process I have communicated my salary expectations and this was not a problem. At the end of the process the salary was suddenly to high and they could not afford me. Working for the company was a chance so I should be more than happy to cut in salary. I kindly told the company that this would not work for me and they did not reply back. After a month I contacted the team and they told me that they would need more time. 2 months later I finally got a response from them. They told me I’m their priority and that they want to continue the hiring process. When I asked them if they could tell me more about my salary expectation they did not respond again. After calling and emailing I’ve got a response from the team that they made a mistake and that they could not afford me for this role. In my lifetime I have never seen such a chaotic and unprofessional hiring committee at a company. The people overall were quite nice but the way of working was horrible.
