Pros
Pros- some really cool people hired recently, resources (apps, programs, etc.) to assist sales & marketing, all territories have the same quota
Cons
Cons- low pay, low commission structure, generic benefits, little time off, ridiculous amounts of redundancy in administrative requirements, micromanaging at the extreme level, work-life balance, no true product onboarding, unrealistic work hours, no IT department to help with IT issues, all territories have the same quota (depends where you land if it’s a pro or con), use of fear of the CEO getting mad is a common theme There is extreme change always going on. Changes of direction, layoffs, new focus, new hires… playing chess with people’s livelihoods. KPIs are focused on numbers only (which are easy to manipulate), not honest results. If you can dial 70 to 100 phone numbers a day, you’ll be fine. It doesn’t matter if it’s a good contact as long as it’s a trackable number in SF. Pay is low and they do not negotiate. Micromanaging is the norm. They celebrate people working ungodly hours rather than when you’re supposed to work and paid to work. Work-Life balance is a massive concern. Fear of the CEO being upset seems to be what drives management. This is an unknown product for the US market with a confusing name. It has potential to be a good product and they continue to make changes to it to be more like what most schools could use. They don’t understand the US market which makes sales challenging and they lack the patience to allow territory growth. Be advised- deception, fear, micromanagement, and dishonesty is a real thing here. They will claim to be closed between Christmas and New Years but they take away some of your PTO to do so. Don’t be shocked to work on holidays. It’s the norm and they don’t care to protect your time off for any reason or even thank you for working on holidays or crazy hours… they will just brag about the ones who work late hours to try to make you feel guilty for having a family life.
