Pros
Cars provided, Enjoyed the training and other staff (but depended on the position and team), Ability to flex schedule, Ability to shift teams or positions (laterally), Very good for getting hours for licensure and having someone to supervise for the different license types, Steady salary and benefits
Cons
High expectations at work with minimal work/life balance, On call without additional compensation/support, Traveling in multiple cities/counties made it difficult to end work at a reasonable hour, Some teams had little support and seemed disorganized, High burn out and turnover, Job felt very based on crisis management rather than therapeutic work, Failure was based on clinician features rather than the client’s work/effort/circumstances which made it difficult to enjoy because there was a push for cases to close “successfully”
