Pros
Most people in the company were friendly
Cons
*hiring decisions is made by only senior level management without consideration of the people who actually have to work with the new hire *tons of organizational issues from not paying bills and rent to purchasing barely functional used equipment that doesn’t drive efficient time in the lab *very poor business decisions where productization is driven by early access users testing under developed products and reagents instead of actual scientific development for reagent robustness *straight up harassment from senior staff to multiple employees was completely ignored causing the turnover of several employees *very questionable business practices include lack of strike price on option packages in offer letters, and inability to exercise vested options by not providing strike prices after termination and a process to exercise options.
