We appreciate you sharing this feedback. We really do like to hear that you find the work we do at Schellman to be interesting. Sometimes amidst the daily stressors at the firm and our responsibilities, the mission we get to contribute to can be a bright spot. That said, we also understand what you’re feeling with regards to time tracking and projects stacking. While our communication around time reporting did attempt to explain ‘why’ behind its implementation, the fact is that this is standard practice in our industry, and in order for us to accurately assess the health of the firm, these data points are crucial.
As to benefits at the firm, they are largely driven by employee feedback via our annual benefits survey. We intentionally try and make changes that will improve the employee experience while meeting the changing needs of everyone across the firm. Please let us know if you have thoughts on anything that has changed, or ways to improve benefits at Schellman, by emailing feedback@schellman.com.
We are sorry to hear that our company Reboot trips aren’t reaching you where you are in your journey at Schellman. But the resounding feedback we get is that employees feel more connected, informed, and excited about the work we do after each trip. We want them (and you!) to feel seen, heard, and absolutely appreciated for their contributions to our success. We offer a feedback form at the conclusion of each trip, and we hope you can share some honest takeaways on how you think we can make them even more impactful.
