Pros

All things considered I made good friends here that were in the same position as me. Half day fridays during the summer were needed to just get out. I gained a set of skills which allowed me to leave. Food trucks on Fridays were a nice effort to raise moral, but ineffective. If you stick it out and get lucky with jobs you're given, you can make legitimate money. 401k match on commission actually is a huge bonus.

Cons

Some of these reviews are 100% accurate, specifically the ones focusing on slandering, bullying, identity theft, etc. Management could have made this a good job but loves their power trips. Once managment realized the honestly of reviews, people were "asked" to make accounts to get the rating up. NOT A LIE. There were no responses to any reviews until their rating had been eviscerated. Middle management talked about the reviews and laughs about the honesty. Threats of staplers being thrown at people, threats of fist fights, and legitimate intimidation tactics were the norm from middle management all while a blind eye is turned from above. The advertised 830 to 430 day is a joke. Show up at 830 and you get "talked to," and you're on call literal all hours of the day. Who doesnt love getting texts at 630 in the morning for something that can wait until in person? And the best/worst. Unlimited sick days, where if you took a sick day you were scrutinized and checked in on. All while offering a massive TEN paid days off, which were also scrutinized when taken.

Pros

Tons of work coming in at varying levels, gives you a great opportunity to learn all facets of recruiting, Management and staff alike are extremely supportive and helpful. Clear metrics as to what is expected of you. Relaxed working environment, and the office is dog friendly!

Cons

The office can be a bit chilly, and traffic going home can be heavy due to being located right off of 70.

Pros

Very little pros. If you’re looking for an entry level position where you are eligible to receive benefits after some time and have a stable income, this is the right fit for you. If you’re looking for a genuine and supportive, work environment, move along.

Cons

Scientific Search presents itself as a fast-paced, high-performing recruiting firm, but my experience revealed a work environment that is far more challenging than advertised. While the role offered exposure to recruiting and sales processes, the day-to-day culture was marked by constant tension, pressure, and a lack of psychological safety. The environment felt rigid and highly micromanaged, with little room for learning, growth, or honest dialogue. Expectations were often unclear, yet accountability was intense, creating a culture where mistakes were met with criticism rather than coaching. Support and training felt minimal, which made success difficult—especially for those newer to the field. Over time, this atmosphere took a noticeable emotional toll and contributed to a sense of burnout rather than professional development. Leadership appeared deeply set in its ways, resistant to feedback, and unwilling to reflect on why turnover and dissatisfaction persist. While the company frequently responds publicly to negative reviews on platforms like this one, these responses are more performative than genuine & focused on reputation management rather than meaningful change. The recurring nature of the same concerns across reviews suggests a pattern that is acknowledged outwardly but not addressed internally. Don’t let their responses fool you like they did me! This role may suit individuals who thrive in high-pressure, uncompromising environments with minimal guidance. However, for those seeking mentorship, collaboration, balance, and a healthier workplace culture, this may not be the right fit. Nothing special, move along! There are endless possibilities and positions that are better out there that won’t cost you your mental health.
