There is really none! They promote themselves as a hot startup company, that is the furthest thing from the truth. If you are an engineer, do yourself a favor and avoid this company!
Cons
No Work life balance, very cut throat, if you are not one of the top 10-15 mangers there you will be treated like a second class citizen! Do not buy into all the hype and the PR bs.
Scopely Response

We strive to make Scopely a highlight in every Scoplean's career. We are a relatively new start-up, and we don't mind working hard because we love our work. We also have excellent perks and camaraderie. Whether we’re playing Ping-Pong, exercising after work with our Yoga instructor, getting a massage from our onsite masseuse or playing sports in one of the LA leagues, Scopely takes care of our employees. We all sit together in a giant think tank to expose are most senior employees to the brand new ones. We’re all here to learn from each other. Please know that I’m always here if you want to chat. I am eager for feedback so we can improve. – Giselle, HR Manager.Giselle@scopely.com
Leadership on game teams doesn't have a lot of oversight, which leads to much different experiences across teams.
Scopely is investing more in games at earlier stages of production, but doesn't know what to do with the talent if the game doesn't work out. Expect layoffs or a lot of confusion if you're not working on a released project.
