Pros
Supportive colleagues who genuinely care about their schools and communities. Flexibility in working hours and holidays is a big plus. Job security and pension are good, and the work can be very rewarding when you see the difference it makes for pupils and staff.
Cons
Lack of consistency in management and decision-making. Communication from higher levels can be poor, with changes often made without consulting those directly affected. Workload can feel unbalanced across schools, and morale suffers when hard work goes unrecognised.
