Pros
- One of the most positive workplaces I’ve ever worked in. No toxicity whatsoever. This is a great first job if you are the real deal. Managers are chill and everybody’s around the same age. It gives a college vibe. - Fast promotions to AE, sales manager are actually true, but that’s if you’re a generational talent and overachieve or 2. survive long enough.
Cons
Lower end of salary range for SDRs. Other tech companies offer a base salary that’s more than Seamless.AI’s base + OTE combined. - Quota is pretty high, I’d say about 5-6 times the quota than other companies. It’s doable, but not sustainable. Lots of SDR turnover. - Everyday is pretty monotonous, and the only advice they give you is to follow the script. If you’re not booking, it’s because you’re not following the script word for word. If you’ve got a lot of no shows, it’s because you’re not following the script. I believe cold calling is more than following an algorithm. I don’t want to be a robot.
