Pros
The benefits package, which includes a hefty life insurance package in case something happens to you, is simply unrivaled. Your family will be set for life when you di-... if you happen to encounter an unfortunate accident. The hours are long, but you are often in good company and feel fulfilled as you are always working as part of a team. You will see the wide world, and let's be honest. Who doesn't live to travel? You will have a sense of purpose, largely stemming from your role in the company and the knowledge you will be privy to as a result. Pay is excellent across the board, along with the on-site accommodations for staff which mean you won't have to worry about purchasing food or housing. Just basic commodities or snacks, kind of like you would in the Military at the Commissary. This means that when you finally cash in on your vacation hours you will have a hefty bank-roll to play with. Also, Seniority. You will rise in Seniority fast! There isn't a whole lot of turn-over... per say. Just a lot of hiring... Don't think about it too much! You get to meet a lot of new people and make many friends!
Cons
Management doesn't lead from the front and, in fact, you are likely to never meet management.. Ever. No faces, names, nicknames, meetings be it via phone or internet. You really only have one point of contact to issue your complaints to middle and upper management and that is.. well, the suggestion box. Write your suggestion on a car, drop it in the box, and scratch your head at how it is always empty but you never see anyone empty it. You're pretty much on your own in case of emergency as the emergency protocols are very wanting. You don't have a long life expectancy when it comes to friendships... or life. I.. I really don't want to write this. I don't want to do this any more. Don't join this company! You're contract is like a vice grip on your heart. You're going to die doing this job. Forget the money, and honestly, what vacation? You never leave the facility... oh god. I miss my mom. Why am I even doing this? I wanted purpose, a good paying job! I never wanted to vanish from society. It isn't worth it. It must be done, someone has to do it, but don't be that someone. Please, I don't want to meet, train, and lose more people. Not again....
