Pros
Pension (if you stay atleast 5 years). People care about each other. Occasionally there is Work life balance
Cons
Pay is lower and they use benefits as the excuse like other companies dont also have benefits. They use to promote job security for employees but have gone through 3 versions of layoff over the last few years, losing a lot of good employees and trying to replace them with hit or miss contractors. Requiring 3 days in the office while they off shore work and hire remote contracts so you'll still be stuck on a teams call in an open collaboration space with other people on teams calls. They've gone through a large acquisition and 2 divestitures that have overworked employees without much of any true recognition. I thought these were one off events but Senior Leadership continues to amaze me at there decisions of putting employees last.
