Pros

Theoretically working on a product that improves people’s lives.

Cons

The ceo is a micromanager and wants things done his way. This means the wrong things are built or built wrong. Customer feedback is not listened to and actioned. He also hates working from home and has fostered and inflexible environment that pressures people to be in the office when sick or when dangerous.

Thank you for taking the time to share with us. We welcome and learn from all feedback and take complaints such as this very seriously. We actively encourage individuals at all levels to push back on decisions that are made even at the executive level when backed with thoughtful, evidence-based information. We understand that this doesn’t work for everyone and that’s ok. We also do our best to give flexibility both for the employee and the company with our Working from Home policy. We’re sorry you didn’t have the experience you wanted in your time at Seer, thank you again for the feedback and we hope you’re doing well on your new adventure!

Pros

The team leads go above and beyond to create a strong sense of work-life balance, including flexibility with days/hours and approving WFH as needed. Such a wonderful group of people. They hire first and foremost for the culture fit, which sometimes means the job is open for a long time but it's so worth it once they hire the right person.

Cons

Unfortunately, with Seer being a startup and relying on external funding, there's been some instability the job.
