High Turnover - Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Select Rehabilitation Employee Review

Pros

The clients and my team the best! Benefits were good.

Cons

Patient caseloads can change often throughout the day with no warning, including removing patients you treated after you treated them (as though you treated them without authorization). Same for groups. Patients are assigned to group at absolute random on the day of group, often with changes made moments before. Planning group is almost impossible. If you go on vacation and they want you back, you'll be expected to come back immediately and pay for it, too.

Pros

Training is good for regular employees. Pay is great. Typical productivity standards for SNF, Assistants are expected to be at 90%. No company match for 401k, but PRN employees are allowed to put in so that is nice.

Cons

Manager training is lacking, especially if it's your first time as a DOR in SNF.
