Pros

The Medicare training period at the beginning was a great refresher.

Terrible management. Unethical Ethics Department. Unethical and misleading marketing. If you are an established agent like I am you will definitely lose your renewals from your earlier career sales because they will screw you when you leave by not professionally releasing agents. I lost 3 months of renewals (existing business sold by me independently prior to signing up with Select Quote. When I asked if my existing renewal business would be effected I was assured on a zoom call with 70+ people no existing renewals prior to Select Quote would be effected. Total lies. I almost lost all of my last 5 years of renewals with UHC because Select Quote tried to delay releasing me after I left. UHC finally saw what they were doing and after 3 months of zero renewals from UHC my renewals were reinstated but I was not able to recoup the 3 months I lost while I was proving their deceitful practices. Also, more importantly than loss of commissions...these people regularly use language like "you have to be a junk yard dog to sell to Seniors. If they hang up on you call back 20, 30, or 40 times until you get them back on the phone. Please..if you don't believe me Google them and read their reviews. It's just terrible for Seniors. Really sad and I wish someone could stop them from spreading their aggressive tactics onto Seniors who do not deserve to be treated with such unethical lack of compassion and professionalism.

Annual bonus based on employee and company performance

Cons

Annual salary is way below national average, especially based on years of experience. They've talked about promoting all QA Analysts to QA Engineer for years (due to the fact we're all fulfilling QA Engineer roles but with the Analyst title and pay), but every year they had a new excuse as to why they couldn't promote everyone. The workload far outweighs the pay.
