Pros
It's a production floor, but it's relaxed in the sense that you don't always have someone breathing down your neck for results. My supervisor regularly lets me know that he appreciates my work and is a decent guy, and I've heard the same from others who have been there for years. I don't know about the company's past but they seem to be doing alright now; I make a living wage for an entry level specialized position that I had no work experience in, and I enjoy my work. If you don't expect anything more than what it is, it's not a bad place to work when you are looking to clock in, work, and go home without taking home mental stress or after-hours responsibility.
Cons
Not everyone that I've worked with puts in the effort that I or others do. I've watched another employee that's been around for years do the same job as me at 1/4 my speed, and I was only working at a constant pace. I also worked with a temp employee who came to work high as a kite on several occasions, walking around aimlessly and not doing anything, though fortunately they were let go. Your work may change depending on the needs of the company; I am regularly moved to different areas and not working on what is the most fulfilling for me, but that's the nature of this kind of environment.
