Products were great. Solved technical issues. Engineering support was excellent. Good rapport amongst co-workers. Mentoring by some managers from US and Japan was good. Interesting travel opportunities throughout the US and abroad. Great opportunity to learn a number of technical products. Customers in the consumer electronics space and defense industry were fascinating to work with.
Cons
Feedback was given in a transparent way, in front of the entire office. As the feedback was perceived in a negative way, turnover was high as a result. At the time, company had a bonus structure but no commission, and pay was not up to par with the budget needed to make it with a family in the Bay Area. Company offered tuition reimbursement but rarely honored it. Great company, but given the other opportunities out there, a great resume builder.
