Sensible is the real deal - User Experience Researcher Sensible Weather Employee Review

They provide great medical benefits, and strongly encourage a work/life balance. It's a fully remote company, so they do an offsite every year (which is not a requirement to attend). Everyone on the team is genuinely kind, and we all believe in the company and the Weather Guarantee which keeps us all motivated and working hard. The team vibe is overall laidback but highly cross-functional and collaborative, so people don't become siloed. Because it's a young company, there are great opportunities for career opportunities.

Can't think of any at the moment

The team at Sensible is incredible. The team has a wide range of expertise from engineering, growth, customer support, finance, ops, people and culture. Here are some of my favorite things: -Very supportive & smart colleagues that create a psychologically safe and dependable environment for everyone to learn and grow. -Ability to brainstorm new ideas and execute without a lot of overhead. -Autonomy to manage your time and work flexibly. -2x/year offsites at incredible cities with great agendas to make memorable experiences with awesome people. -The mission focuses on improving the world. -The management team is strong, open minded and easy to talk to welcoming feedback and ideas from everyone. -The organization is very flat. I don't think you can find a better startup to invest your precious career years into. It's a truly rare opportunity to find kind + intelligent people working on a worthwhile cause and I count myself as lucky every day.

I wish I could see my colleagues a bit more in person since we are 100% remote but it always seems like an offsite is around the corner & we have local meetups which is awesome too.
