Pros

Good amount of vacation/sick time. They will also pay you for a week of volunteer work. Good proximity to mountains.

Cons

Overall company moral was very low among new hires and entry level positions. Management makes promises when hiring that they have no intent on following through with. After working for Sentinel one month, the manager who hired me openly admit that this was a terrible company to work for as a young person and they put no effort into training young employees for future growth.

Pros

Its the only asset manager in Vermont

Cons

No strategy and management doesn't have a clue. They can't retain top talent due to their inability to take criticism. They are arrogant and nobody knows what anybody's job is. The President is a ghost who spends his winter skiing 4 times a week. When he comes to the office he doesn't talk to anyone. The CEO is a great guy but doesn't have a clue that his distribution is being led by incompetent people. They need to clean house and get people in here that know what they are doing.
