Serif is a software company and is owned by people who know very little about software. As a result they make terrible uniformed decisions. They look toward a team of equally uniformed managers for advice.
They are a bureaucratic company with a steep hierarchy, making getting anything done a long and tedious process.
The wages here are very low. Some of the managers have an apologetic attitude and do what they can. Since leaving I am earning more than 2x what Serif was paying me.
The company is being directed largely by talentless individuals with no passion or real insight.
