Pros
Caring for families is fulfilling and challenging. Health insurance and supplementary services are provided for full time staff. Your children can be enrolled free of charge. Timing works well, especially if your children attend the program.
Cons
No communication, neglect, and disrespect from upper management. Lower management is harassed for being understaffed yet, they are the party responsible for staffing. Each site is understaffed and it has been that way for years. If you voice concerns or differing opinions, they will harass or degrade you until you eventually leave.
Most importantly, their behavior prevents you from creating the safe, enriching and stimulating atmosphere you were told was originally the goal. Specialty teachers do not arrive, leaving teacher assistants to teach cooking/science for months. In 2017, a martial arts teacher with a criminal record regarding "endangering children" was hired to teach in multiple sites for weeks.
It is to the point where I wonder if the company is covering up their financial gains and the families agree.
