Some leadership "motivates" with fear tactics and belittlement. I have been on calls where vp's publicly berate direct reports with others on calls. Others blatantly lie to junior associates that all is ok, then recommend they be replaced during leadership calls. High turn over below VP level.
CEO pursues "shiny pennies" without background knowledge or giving the new and improved plan time to mature. And "by gosh" they changed job description and financial plan 3x in less than 1 year.
Founders are understandably loyal to the company but it comes across as no one else has any intelligible contributions, or they are considered not trustworthy when anyone else shares best practices.
Do NOT disagree with the CEO or suggest policy improvements if you want to keep your job. Even if opinions are requested and met with support, termination typically happens within the quarter for some trumped up, unfounded reason.
Culture is pushed and preached as the golden gem of this company, though it does not translate to the employees who are remote, which is the vast majority.
They say they've never lost a client. In meetings, RFPs, RFIs, etc. I have personally witnessed at least 5 lost customers in the 2 years I have been here. Maybe their definition of "lost" means not fired from a program, but contracts and timing prevent such. But they sure aren't weren't hired for the next phases, which keeps per client revenue averages low for new customers.
