Pros
If you're outgoing and ambitious, the sky is the limit here. The benefits and pay are amazing. The office is wonderful. Some of the smartest people I've ever met work here.
Cons
There is no time to feel at "home" with your coworkers/team. I miss having camaraderie like I've had at smaller companies. You're often silo'd in your work, which makes collaboration difficult, and often means blame is shifted around a lot. Speaking of blame, there can be a lot of it. Reviews with executives are VERY intense, meaning that people are often doing everything they can to make the best slide decks to show off and look the most useful. Rather than actually BEING useful. I try to keep my head down and do good work, but because of that, my efforts often get "claimed" by those in other teams for clout. Another issue is work-life balance. Just... forget about that working here. I hold my boundaries firm, but it affects my bonus pay/performance reviews. Sorry, I'm not answering a call at 7pm unless it's an emergency. I won't normalize that. TL;DR: corporate clout chasing, terrible work-life balance, and a bit lonely.
