Pros

Half day during summer months

Cons

Passive aggressive work environment. They hire a bunch of people and fire them within 6 months due to poor sales and not based on the employee's performance. They deceive prospective employees with the phrase "we are like family with growth opportunities" to lure them to take the job only to be met with toxicity, daily operational changes based on the manager's emotional state, and lack of growth opportunity. Their is a clique - if you are not liked by them, you will be the first on the "fire" list

Pros

No pros whatsoever. So bad.

Cons

If you’re considering a role at SharpLight, I strongly recommend doing your due diligence and reaching out to former employees before making a decision. The company is experiencing significant layoffs, and the work environment is highly unstable. Management is disorganized, takes zero accountability, and operates with a lack of structure that makes it nearly impossible to succeed. The culture is so toxic, and expectations are unrealistic due to poor leadership and constant last-minute demands. I wish I had asked questions before accepting the role because I would have learned how toxic the company truly is. I was told that if you ask about the work environment or culture during interviews, be aware that leadership will not be honest with you. What makes it worse is that they actively defend and enable a toxic culture by keeping employees who are not only unprofessional but make the work environment unbearable. Instead of addressing real concerns, they prioritize the wrong people and make it clear they do not care about their employees’ well-being. Speak to those who have worked here before committing—you’ll thank yourself later.
