As someone who did not have any experience in IP law prior to obtaining this position, I really appreciate the amount of experience I have been exposed to the past 3 years. It takes a lot of team effort to keep a law firm moving successfully and any slack from one role or department can affect the entire operation. With that said, the team work is critical at this firm and what is great that everyone supports one another and takes initiative to help each other improve and refine one's skills. There will be no such thing as a perfect work environment. The legal industry is always going to be loaded down with stress and a whole lot of work, but if you know how to manage time and work efficiently and you're determined to learn and grow, this is a great place to be.

If you do not adequately prepare for a meeting, you will be called out. Always have a pen and paper on hand at all times!
