No limit to the amount of resources availabile, which is important to the technical community. Outstanding corporate reputation makes networking and working with suppliers and universities very easy. Cons
Salaries tend to stagnate too much, and as a result, compensation is on the low end. I will clarify that it is possible to get promotions in grade level, but organic salary increases do not come close to being hired in at a higher grade level. Incentive programs are not effective. Top level technical performers are not compensated or rewarded to the same percentage as top level sales staff because there are no good set of metrics to measure and compensate the technical employee.
