Management are out of touch with the beauty industry (that is ever changing). They always say that they know best (xx numbers of years in the industry) and does not encourage sharing of new ideas and methods. Very resistant to change and hence the lack of growth for the company. Salary is very low according to industry standards Monopoly of power, on the hands of showy but incompetent people Lack of opportunities to try new ideas Lack of growth within department/ rotating to other brands (Shiseido prefer to hire external people to fill up vacancies)
