Pros

Fully Remote: The ability to work remotely is perhaps the only saving grace at Shocklogic. It offers flexibility in terms of location, allowing employees to work from the comfort of their homes.

Cons

Terrible Pay: Shocklogic's compensation is abysmal. The company's low pay rates make it difficult to make ends meet, especially for those living in more expensive areas. It's disheartening to see such meager rewards for hard work and dedication. Excessive Interviews: The hiring process at Shocklogic is incredibly frustrating. It feels like an endless loop of interviews and assessments, each more time-consuming than the last. This excessive and drawn-out process only serves to test your patience. Invasive Psychological Interview: Shocklogic's psychological review is invasive and uncomfortable. The company delves into your personal life with a barrage of invasive questions that have no bearing on your ability to perform the job. This overreach into personal matters is highly unprofessional and unsettling.

Pros

The management (they call it leadership) of the company is very involved and often proposes policies that help the staff to grow and develop. It got me into mindfulness as they do breathing exercises. It helped me a lot with my anxiety issues. I felt I was heard and could talk to my supervisor openly. They helped me develop quickly and paced my work initially to my capacity At the same time, there was enough structure for me to feel pushed towards learning and growth. I had a great time there

Cons

The salary wasn't great, although I was a beginner
