Pros

I LOVE working here. Our team is full of some of the kindest, smartest, most interesting folks I've ever had the pleasure of working with. I look forward to coming to work every day and interacting with all of my teammates. I also really appreciate the level of transparency that comes from our leadership team - the team at Shortcut is open, accessible, and genuinely cares about our employees. Compensation and benefits are more than fair, they're generous, and I love having open/unlimited vacation...I don't feel the need to save up and carefully prioritize vacation days which has been a challenge at previous companies. I'm really excited to see what the future holds for us!

Cons

We have the typical growing pains of a smaller startup, but that's not necessarily a con - just comes with the territory.

Pros

I just hit my one year at Shortcut. I am someone who is a long term employee, I do not like to move from job to job. I was with my former employer for 8 years, and only moved on due to a RIF. I am happy with my position at Shortcut so far. The people who work for the company are pleasant, and I enjoy collaborating with them for work - but also chatting about personal things. Our People Team really makes an effort to connect our Team, since we are all working remotely. The Leadership Team is accessible to all, and also just easy to work with. Its a startup, so if you are not familiar with that environment you may not like it. Our benefits package is robust, I appreciate unlimited PTO + our 16 week (paid) maternity policy. Both things I did not have at my former employer.

Cons

Recent changes have left some things with no apparent owners or responsible parties, so sometimes you may have to hunt down who is in charge or takes ownership of some things. The information is sometimes not right in front of you, but everyone is very helpful with helping in the hunt.
