Hard work will be rewarded. Hard to make connections. - Senior Consultant Sia Employee Review

Pros

If you put in the work and hours it will be recognized, there is a good culture of caring and it is not anywhere near as cuthroat as you would expect from a medium/large sized consulting company with big aspirations.

Cons

At least in my geography, there is no physical office. Even before the pandemic you would rarely, if ever meet someone you work with unless it was at a client engagement. Most engagements are individual or, rarely, a smally team. You will seldom get the chance to meet face to face with your peers or managers, even after the pandemic is over. If you are the type of person that needs connections and human contact this could be a difficult place. I would say however that not all geographies are like this.

Pros

Coworkers are nice and some managers are supportive

Cons

Low pay and the way year-end reviews are done is ajoke. Going above and beyond at this company means having to work 5-9 after your 9-5. They expect you to have no life for measly pay. Turn over rate is high. Offices are disjointed. Leadership are having "benchmarking" contests left and right for sales. Anyway good people are leaving this company because honestly, they expect you to just grind it out without the pay of a big tier firm. Gender diversity is also seriously lacking at the top.
