Pros
It is a nonprofit that does help the community. Some of the employees are fantastic, the pto and sick accrual is nice and unemployment through the summer for preschool employees. You get to work with some amazing children and watching them grow in the school district and still remember you is heartwarming, especially when you get younger siblings in your class.
Cons
Double standards, ridiculous requirements, constant changes in the ways we do things, with no notification most times. Low pay but somehow they find thousands of dollars at the end of the fiscal year that needs spent, but not as any sort of bonus or a pay raise to staff, or at least the lower paid staff. Honestly it's a good company to work for if you fit in with everyone. Every "extra" thing they have done for other employees, magically stopped right before I earned them. And for some reason started back up after a few months had gone by.
