Pros
Great coworkers, clean environment, that's pretty much it.
Cons
Management is terrible. They are only concerned with growing in their own career. Most have been promoted not because they deserve their position, but because they knew someone. Most have no actual knowledge of the area that they manage. Many never listen to their technical employees to make decisions, and they tend to make decisions only based on what the "path of least resistance" is. Financial targets trump being compliant. The organization is so focused on being lean, that there aren't actually enough people to get anything done. Being extremely lean, managers never jump in and take any responsibilities. Most just delegate everything to their employees to the point of overload. When you take a day off, expect to pay for it 3 times over when you return, since you will never have a back up. Also expect to be called at home during your days off. Management is also more focused on what time you come in and leave, versus what you accomplish during a day. There is no work life balance. Most senior management have formed what we call "the boys club" where they support each other and not their employees. Overall, management is clueless and tends to blame their failures on the employees.
