Pros
- Quality products is a focus point. Everyone is proud of the work they are doing, and work to minimize technical debt and deliver great products. - Quality of life for employees is another focus point. You’re given flexibility to do your job well, and they support you along the way. Healthy snacks, unlimited time off, able to work from home Tuesday-Thursday. Good work/life balance and great benefits. - Culture is another focus point. Every day going into the office feels like visiting friends. On your first day you are given a stack of coupons that encourages you to grab lunch or coffee with your new coworkers. Everyone is upbeat, social, and happy to be at work.
Cons
Tight deadlines and high expectations. There is a ton to get done, which is difficult with a small team and only so many hours in a work week. There isn’t time for busy work, checking social media, or sitting idle. Pay is just okay. I took a significant drop in salary to join the company, but it has been worth it.
