I was on family duties outside town, we had an interview remotely and because of their high interest they asked me to get back for a last interview where it was mentioned that I could possibly sign the papers. I got back just for this position (paid expensive tickets for last minute return) and on the second interview they said I was overqualified, and I ensured them that I am interested for the position. Still everything seemed to go well. Eventually I had to reach out to them after two days so I can respond in another proposal that came up and they rejected me. No explanation, and they knew that I wouldn't return for any other position before even the first interview. Non professional approach. Plus, they made pretty clear that there are no promotions unless 3 years pass on the same position, which is a huge con for me.
