I was hired through this company for a Senior Frontend Developer position at the startup Jetquity/Bizav.ai. The selection process consisted of two take-home assignments, followed by individual defense of each task. The first assignment was focused on testing my CSS skills, while the second was centered around TypeScript. After successfully completing the tasks and an interview with the tech lead from Jetquity/Bizav, I received a job offer. Although the offer was slightly lower than expected, I accepted it. However, after just five working days, during which I was constantly questioned by the tech lead about databases, pipelines, Figma, and JavaScript, I was terminated. The reasons given were that my skills did not meet their expectations and that my salary was too high for them. Despite being hired strictly for a frontend role, they expected me to have knowledge in backend, DevOps, and design as well. Because of this, I criticize SBG for their lack of seriousness and professionalism, as they wasted several weeks of my time and caused unnecessary stress. Based on this experience, I would not recommend working with them to anyone, to avoid facing a similar situation.
