- Amateurish project and time management. Management takes on way too many clients and way too much work for the amount of people they have on staff. They'll constantly interrupt the work day with rounds of Xbox multiplayer and foosball (the usual startup traps), then give you the stink-eye when you leave at 7pm, even if you've completed the obscene laundry list of tasks they gave you.
- No investment in proper equipment. Don't be surprised if they give you a half-broken Hackintosh to work with instead of actual Macs. Is your Frankenstein computer giving you issues? You get no support other than "try to work around it". You'll easily spend 1/4th of your day just fighting with the computer and troubleshooting things you shouldn't be troubleshooting if management cared enough to make sure their employees had working equipment to begin with.
- No accountability. Management will give you tasks, code, etc., but what happens when what they've given you is out of date, broken, or just flat-out wrong? They'll blame you, somehow, if something goes wrong. This is completely inept behaviour and happened more than once. If you give someone a car with faulty brakes and don't tell them about it, it's not their fault if they crash.
I'd give this company zero stars if I could. Never worked for a company before or since that was this disorganized, this oblivious, this badly managed, and cared so little about their employees.
If you have no life and want to work 12 hour days as a disposable code monkey, you're exactly what these guys are looking for. Otherwise, keep your head up and avoid.
