A Call Center Like No Other - Licensed Insurance Agent Simply Business Employee Review

Pros

- CSC (call center) leadership truly do their best to ensure they are balancing customer needs while keeping their employee's well being at the forefront - More flexibility than any other call center - Supervisors and Leaders that treat you like a human rather than a number - Company wide bonus potential while still being in control of monthly incentive based on selling

Cons

- While there is more flexibility than I have experienced in other call centers, the flexibility is noticeably less than other functions of the business (i.e. taking a personal appointment mid day is likely not feasible without using PTO or sick time). This can certainly make it a bit tough and make you want a job off the phones moreso. - There are some processes and systems missing that you would expect in a call center; this can make some of the day to day frustrating

Pros

Great work life balance and vacation time....

Cons

Many internal issues and felt like this last round of layoffs was to protect inadequate leaders vs hardworking employees. I understand companies do layoffs but this just felt like Senior management trying to protect themselves because they aren't doing an effective job. I really think there are some issues with the leadership team and it probably needs an overhaul. There was never any strategy from product outside of one small area. The rest of the business was left without any guidance or support. I really think the US/UK shared services model does not work. The UK and US just are entirely different markets and the UK at the end of the day doesn't really care about the US nor move as quickly.
