Pros
Friendly co-workers. On-site screen print facility and warehouse. The small company culture offers exposure to many stages of the product development cycle.
Cons
Job roles and responsibilities were loosely defined and highly subjective. Creativity was encouraged in principle but consistently shot down in practice unless it originated with senior leadership. Decisions or initiatives made without the senior leadership's advance input were routinely dismissed, regardless of merit. All meaningful creative direction funneled through a single point of control, leaving little room for professional autonomy at any level. Management style was controlling, with employees at all levels treated more like supervised hourly workers than trusted professionals, regardless of exempt status.
