Pros

As long as you have a GM and GSM that is great, the station level is great. I've heard horror stories about bad stations, luckily I was at a great one. Also make sure you have a decent sales coordinator, they'll save your hide.

Cons

1) For what you have to do, and the hours you put in, the base salary is laughable. 2) Don't ever expect to get a sales bonus. If you do, consider yourself lucky. 3) Upper management at corporate all want blood from a turnip. They have no idea what actually happens at the station level. They will also tell you how much of a POS you are for missing budget, or not selling spot or new business. 4) If you have any kind of skills at all, it's not worth the stress and headaches you'll put up with on a daily basis. 5) There's absolutely no training. And when you need to ask the corporate ops team how to do something - they won't tell you. Just call you stupid for doing it wrong when you have no choice but to fumble it because no one gave you directions.

Pros

Flexibility with my schedule to be able to take and pick up my kids from school. Great team to work with at my location. Ability to train and do jobs outside of my regular task to get hands on experience in other areas.

Cons

Department was restructured and my position was relocated.

Pros

Job can be fun depending on if you're a natural performer. You gather valuable experience interviewing others.

Cons

Terrible pay and culture. They will likely not pay you commission for anything you sell so do not take that on. Focus on your primary job.
