Pros
However good the benefits, it's not worth it.
Cons
Siteimprove is now run by a club of old friends at the top, and they'll always have each other's back before their employees beneath them. Executive leadership fosters a culture of panic and finger-pointing. People at the bottom carry the brunt of it. It's unhealthy. New leadership has directly caused anxiety, depression, panic attacks, and stress-induced conditions like shingles among several of my colleagues. I left for my physical and mental health that deteriorated because of the harm caused by this toxic environment. If you thrive in an environment being screamed at in front of peers with no support from your leader or to be humiliated on a call with 200 people after asking a question while being mansplained to the difference between "layoffs" and "workforce reduction," this might be a good job for you.
