Pros

Workload can be varied Team Leaders and Area managers are supportive , approachable and knowledgeable All my team leaders were always good to me - supportive, interested in my performance , helpful with AL and other days off; but most of all they all trusted my judgements and had confidence in my handling of my workload

Cons

Workload could be at times heavy

Pros

A reasonable employer with good flexi time benefits. Pay was good.

Cons

Office culture was pretty dull and lifeless. Organisational change happens at a glacial rate which can be quite defeating.

Pros

Generally nice people, good location in the centre of Glasgow.

Cons

Spend all their time in meetings, talking to each other and agonising over plans and presentations that look great on paper are never delivered. Very hierarchical, staff are told to demonstrate "everyday leadership" yet everything has to be pushed further and further up the chain of command. Their risk aversion means little gets done. Because of their "no compulsory redundancies" policy they are carrying a lot of people on permanent contracts which means most new roles are on fixed-term contracts that last less than 24 months (as at that point your employment status changes to permanent). This means it is hard to have a career longer than 2 years and the organisation loses good people to a revolving door.
