Great Team - Everyone at Skip truly cared about the company and what we were building. I love working with smart, dedicated people Cutting Edge Tech - Engineering team had the freedom to choose the best tools for the job. That lead us to using cutting edge tech like Elixir to build our platform. This was fun. Impact - Working on a small team was a blast because the work I did each day had a material impact on the business. Culture - I really really like, on a personal level, every individual I worked with at Skip.
Cons
Being a startup in the phase we were at while I worked their, we were trying to find out fit in the market. This meant that priorities changed often, and we had to adjust. Also, we relied heavily on some integrations and that can obviously be very frustrating.
