Pros
Pretty easy to get hired. Always hiring. Steady work with overtime usually available. Weekly paycheck. Free meals. Free uniforms with laundry service and new shoes every 6 months.
Cons
Union. Poor pay and once you top out that's it, no more raises. Revolving door of employees. Poor benefits. If you start in January it will be 5 yrs and 11 mos before you get 2 weeks vacation. 3 sick days a year. 5 holidays and Memorial Day is not one of them. Health coverage for self and spouse almost $400 for 80/20 coverage. It's all about the bottom line and not the employee.
