Pros
I’ve been with this company for a little over a year and it feels like months. My previous job was quite the opposite. What this means is that I enjoy working here. Management and staff are great. First time in a long time l’ve truly felt valued by an employer, which is far more appreciated than the owners probably know. Pros: -Great Pay -No micromanaging -Fully remote -Flexible schedule: personally, I don’t take days off but management is super cool about it when someone needs to. Ideally (and professionally) you want to give a two week notice, but if something comes up, they completely understand. -Staff feels valued and appreciated -Yearly staff trip where you’re well taken care of (mind you, this comes out of the owners pockets and this is something a big percentage of large companies don’t do, let alone a small business). -Owners have an open door policy and you can literally go to them with any frustrations and not feel like your job is in jeopardy. -Staff is always willing to help one another and despite being remote, there’s a “team” mentality.
Cons
-Benefits could be better, but this a small business. -Monthly continuing education should be tailored to individual expertise. -Workload can be very overwhelming at times, but there is always downtime and again, the open door policy to speak up. -Having an Operations Manager would be ideal. -While the owners value everyone’s opinion, decisions need to not necessarily be made collectively as it gets convoluted.
