Pros

• All the work is for the next day. No pressure • work with colleagues rather than with the general public - it is repetitive , predictable in a good way • Never have to worry about how crazy or busy it will be (like a community / hospital dispensary), no more Sunday blues wondering how much you’ll hate manic Monday (eg: in hospital or community pharmacy) • Barely any phone calls from customers • No patient contact whatsoever - good for people who are not good with patients • Good pay, paid hourly (not salary). So any OT you will get paid fairly as it uses a clock in clock out system unlike hospitals • take work seriously but relaxed team that is also able to have fun • Friday’s get less busy - not more busy (unlike community and hospital) due to the nature of work. • closed on saturdays. • generally don’t need to work sundays or Public Holidays.

Cons

Limited career progression. It’s more for pharmacists who enjoy quality control and aseptic manufacturing concepts, whilst also wanting a 9-5 type job where you can earn you keep, clock out physically (and mentally) and enjoy your home life and not take work home with you mentally unlike hospital and community pharmacy.

Pros

The tech team is good - nothing and nobody else. ONLY the team

Cons

If you’re looking for a toxic workplace that will hold you back in life, is full of micro aggressive management with a trigger happy punishment policy of humiliation, unfair expectations of workload, lack of balance, hostile senior techs, overall bad environment, unbelievably high turnover, bully culture from management and supervision, no professional growth, sky high favouritism, with poor compensation and recognition for your hard work and a criminal amount of overtime hours with minimal ability to train and retain staff then this is just the place for you. Look after yourself first not the company, Protect your own personal time and schedule and set clear expectations of overtime, don’t kill yourself staying back every day it’s not worth the reward, and management definitely do NOT care about you so don’t be silly and think they do. But hey you might randomly get a Site Star award for doing the most menial task, a sausage sizzle every 6 months or a $5 pizza the for the other 6 months of slavery. So I guess that’s something to look forward to….a laminated piece of paper and recognition of your hard work - yay go you!

Pros

Certain managers in this company manipulate/dismiss important employee interaction and communications purposefully. They also pass on employee private information which shouldn't be disclosed to other employees. Very dangerous workplace.

Cons
