Pros

-I liked most of my direct colleagues - can learn a lot quickly since you’re doing multiple people’s jobs - there are a handful of shining star people - stepping stone to better opportunities

Cons

- extreme favoritism displayed by executive leadership - allowing terrible managers to stay, even as they create a toxic culture and cause good talent to leave (I’m looking at you, marketing) - won’t listen to any feedback b/c the CEO runs everything - top down culture - old school - NO MATERNITY LEAVE - terrible benefits in general - high turnover, expect your best coworkers to last a year or less - a little racist, a lot misogynistic - must work in the office 9-4 min, and the president will come on the floor at 4 to pressure people to stay

Pros

There are some incredibly smart people that currently work, or have passed thorough here, so you get to work with some truly amazing people. You will be give an enormous amount of work, and the more you show you can do competently, the more work you will be given. This can be a good and bad thing. If you are looking to build experience, you will be able to gain experience faster here than almost anywhere. But, if you are good at what you do, they will saddle you with more work than can possibly be done.

Cons

The culture is not great. There used to be a lot of fun events, and team culture events. But they have all been replace with stiff, corporate feeling, in office events, that make it feel like they don't value employees enough to invest in them. Anything that spends money on employees is seen as a waste of money and not an investment in culture and wellbeing of employees.
