Bad Location , Nice to work from home but office vibe isn't good , Company closed

People - the people at smallspark made the job somewhat enjoyable. Some of the nicest staff ive ever worked with.

Unfortunately other than the people - everything else to do with this job was an actual nightmare. Senior management doing everything they can, not to spend money on employees, whilst spending thousands on new equipment for themselves that would end up un used on someone else's desk. General lack of understanding in how to manage people from the top. Highly unprofessional comments chucked around as “jokes” and sheer naivety from senior staff when it came to people leaving or reporting problems at work. No direction when it came to actually pushing the company forward. It seemed as though the CEO would choose a new idea every 4 months, run with it and expect immediate results with little to no support on how to actually achieve those results. Unprofessional treatment of staff. Countless times i have heard or even seen completely unprofessional treatment toward staff with outside HR seemingly doing little to help staff but instead opting to “support the business”. One or two instances coming from top level staff being inappropriate outside of work. Do not expect help or support from this company to grow your career. You will hear wild and untrue statements about earning potential including share options which will be untrue, things such as “your shares will help you buy a house in cash one day” whilst this will never come to fruition. You will be let down by senior members as they are clearly only interested in themselves and not the wellbeing and growth of their staff.
