Pros

Remote, great co-workers and an easy job for the money if you’re good at sales or speaking with people.

Cons

Where do I start, typical call center , they have no sick pay if you are sick you get points and you have to use your PTO time if you have it. (So don’t have an emergency situation….))They don’t care about you or your health period The life work balance is awful. You are just a number to them, they don’t care about you. It seems like they play with your numbers for commission and pick and choose who gets the calls and skill levels. The leads are awful and the customers complain that they were mislead to sucker them into connecting with the company. Some customers complain that they have been called several times a day by us and also say they have already been transferred 2 or 3 times by the time they get to me only to be transferred again. Agents hang up on you often in a transfer and or don’t say anything. Some leads are disrespectful and talk to you like you’re stupid and when you ask a question they answer you with a question rather than the answer or don’t respond at all. And don’t bother giving a notice when you quit they don’t honor that as respect. Repetitive back to back calls with the same verbiage, which is typical for a call center job so you know what you’re getting into but still it can become a bit much especially when you’re getting bad leads or your calls are being messed with, and your skill level changed even when you’re always at the top of the board typically . No real room for growth .

Pros

As a manager at Smart Financial, I’ve had a genuinely positive experience working here and appreciate the overall balance the organization provides. Compensation is fair and competitive for the industry, and while there’s always room for growth in any role, I feel appropriately rewarded for the work and responsibility that comes with leadership. One of the standout strengths of the company is the schedule structure, it supports both productivity and work-life balance, which is not always easy to find in this field. The leadership team is another major plus. Management is approachable, supportive, and open to feedback, which creates an environment where managers and team members alike feel heard and valued. There’s a clear emphasis on collaboration rather than micromanagement, which makes a big difference in day-to-day operations. The overall work environment is friendly, positive, and team-oriented. There’s a strong sense of camaraderie across departments, and that culture helps keep morale high even during busy periods. Overall, it’s a solid place to work with a supportive culture, reliable structure, and leadership that genuinely tries to invest in its people.

Pros

They don’t micromanage you Remote positions That’s about it

Cons

• Minimal transparency, especially from management, if there’s traffic issues good chance they won’t tell you what is causing it • Extremely difficult metrics in order to make commission, that they change often to avoid paying out commission, and if it’s a holiday week, just know you most likely aren’t making commission that week, and if you go on vacation best believe whoever is covering you doesn’t care about your book • Huge lack of culture, even with a culture committee, they keep every department very private from one another and you are not allowed to communicate with other departments, making it hard to solve client issues • You’re better off finding somewhere else that respects its employees and doesn’t blindside them after 4 years by terminating them with minimal reason why and going back on performance from years prior to justify it. Even after hitting $1 million dollars in revenue, they do not value people here.
