Pros
- Used to be full of wonderful, brilliant employees - Used to make a lot of money, but never from travel - Used to be a great place to learn on-the-job - Used to have multiple Employee Resource Groups
Cons
In my opinion, the company fell apart after a round of layoffs in April. In my opinion layoffs were in response to a revenue stream drying up and upper management being unable to execute on travel. In my opinion, with no income, folks were let go. In my opinion this was so poorly handled that nearly everyone lost respect for the CEO and other high-level leadership and the company suffered a lot of attrition. In my opinion this is what led to many months of crunch work, burning out most of the workforce. In my opinion the thing that that disintegrated any remaining trust in leadership was the the second round of layoffs at end of September that has led to the highest attrition rate I've ever seen at a company. In my opinion the entire process was somehow less professional than the layoffs in April. In my opinion the lack of respect shown to employees who have been there for years is at best pathetic and everyone involved deserves better. In my opinion the presumed trajectory of replacing all on-shore engineering staff with overseas contractors is nothing more than a last-ditch effort to get the last bits of money for the board. In my opinion anyone joining the company now would be doing themselves a disservice, potentially derailing their career.
